worst luck

i always wind up getting some sort of illness before shows..i have severe stomach issues and its been good lately which i was happy about leading up to newark and msg shows

now the last 48 hours have the worst sinus headache ever making me feel like my head is a thousand pounds can barely walk straight

i know its nothing serious and theres no doubt i will be at all shows no matter what just hope it goes away before so i can enjoy my self to the fullest extent..i just wanted to rant about my shitty luck when it comes to health and shows lol

    Aww, poor baby...
    Be grateful you only have a little stomach sickness rather than being laid up in a rehab hospital still recuperating from a car crash like me. There's no way I can go, yet PJ's playing all around me. So suck it up! :mrgreen:

    It sounds somewhat psycho-somatic, and I can say that as I've struggled with headaches and stomach ulcer issues and now back problems. I would suggest sudafed for the sinus problems, not the nasal sprays as that will only lead to rebound headaches, but rather the stuff you have to ask the pharmacist for and they swipe your ID, you don't need a prescription or anything, but need to show your ID. And for the stomach issues, I would suggest Aloe Vera gel mix from Whole Foods, really good stuff, and maybe laying off soda and coffee for a few days. Hope this helps.

    well actually my stomach is not just some lil stomach illness so thank you..yes your car crash is bad but ive also been hospitalized because of my condition and still undergoing several tests including the week after pearl jam so i wouldnt say its a little stomach issue but thanks

    and im definitely trying everything i can im taking vitamin c.advil and sudafed

    like i said i will be there no matter what..just had to vent cause sometimes it is depressing this might not be a serious issue this time but like i said my stomach is and has been and its messed with my psychology that every little illness gets me down

    As far as your sinuses go, I hear neti pots are great. I've never used one, but of everyone I've talked to that has, I've only heard really positive things.

    yea i have one..i was going to try it in a little bit..thanks for the suggestion

    wow, that's what you consider "the worst luck"? i've heard much worse, like the couple last week who traveled from australia for the columbus show, and there flight was delayed, so they got to the arena right as the fans were leaving. that's bad luck. or the dude who posted today about leaving his tickets across the delaware river in his car.....a ferry ride away.....and also missing the show. that's gut-wrenching stuff. being a little sicky-poo isn't "the worst luck".

    lol some people take things way to literal..obviously its not the worst thing in the world i was just ranting
