Do you ever look at your profile and then all the stuff/tickets you've bought over the years and think that you may have a serious addiction? Holy shit, I've spent a lot of money over the years on Pearl Jam.

I happen to think this addiction is worth every cent.

We may be in a recession, but I'm spending money like a freaking maniac. This life is meant to be enjoyed, and PJ just gives so much damn joy. June, please hurry the hell up.

    What's your total? I don't think mine's too bad.

Mine goes back to 03, is missing three sets of tickets that I bought through TM, and is 1,852.89.
Sounds like a bit, but it's only 370/year
Add your benaroya vinyl # to the list!!!

Wow. Since 2003, $1,284.39. And that doesn't include 2 Eddie solo tickets, 10 Bridge School tickets, 6 posters, a hoodie, and a few other things that were bought through other outlets.

Probably not nearly as much as some of you have spent, but still...I had no idea that I've poured that much money into the band.

As of 2003 my 10c orders total $2267.84. I can't even imagine pre-2003 10c & non 10c purchases (shows, posters, t-shirts, CD's, etc.). Got me wondering about my touring expenses. How about a mileage total for Pearl Jam shows?

You'd think that they would understand that and release more merchandise that they know we will snap up....

I've certainly spent a ton of money on this band, but to each his own. People have their obsessions, addictions, passions, etc. It could be worse.

$3,000 on PJ could be $3,000 spent on a new road bike, or drugs, or crazy speakers, or a few vacations or new carpeting for your house. I think a lot of money on something you are passionate about is perfectly fine as long as you can afford it. If I couldn't afford 5-7 shows a tour, I wouldn't do it.

I view PJ tours as mini-vacations where I am able to do something that I enjoy almost more than anything. It's a no brainer for me. I get to travel to different cities, occupy myself during the day with various activities, and then absolutely love life for a few hours at night.

As far as the money I've spend on the music, bootlegs, memorabilia, etc, well...like I said it could be drugs or something else. Everyone has their passions. Mine/ours is harmless (if not rejuvenating sometimes), and if I couldn't afford it I would cut back.

With all that being said, I look at my profile sometimes and my heart skips a beat sometimes. No matter how I justify it, that is a lot of money ;)

T-H-O-U-S-A-N-D-S !!!!!!! The whole band could've been put through a semester of Med School at least. I'm seriously addicted. I enjoy my addiction so much, I have no intention of stopping.

    Since Jul '04 $1214.

That includes a couple of posters I picked up for mates and concert ticket pairs which I would've gotten money for.

    Not too shabby!!

Yeah, I'm almost at $4,000.00 since 03 and that doesn't even count the 05 tour when I split tickets with someone with a better a number than me and a couple of other shows in 06 and this tour when I'm doing the same.
