They have a MMJ feel to them, and I'm really happy with them. I have never heard them before, but the singer has an incredible voice and they have a nice straight-forward rock sound.

If you're a fan of MMJ, or if the below video sound good, check them out at the show you're going to. I was impressed. :)

    Not too bad.
  • Agreed
Check out the 1st 2 albums. Really good albums. Give them a chance. And listen a few times, not just once
You can also listen to the new album in its entirety on their site.
Dont like the new one so much, yet. It takes a couple of weeks then I am sure it will be in line with the 1st 2
    looking forward to seeing them!

I agree! I really like this choice as an opener. They are definitely worth getting there early for!

I hear MMJ a little in the music, and I also hear a slight similarity to Death Cab for Cutie's Ben Gibbard in Ben Bridwell's vocal delivery.
    Good evening...

Agreed. Really loved them. Got my copy of Infinite Arms yesterday - best PJ opening band I've ever seen.

  • I LOVE these guys!

I've seen them 3 times now, twice where they were the headliners and once opening for Pearl Jam. Every time they have blown me away. I was SO SO SO excited about them opening, but I was sad when only about 20% of the audience was there when they played. And out of that 20% only 5% were paying attention and out of that 5% only 2% were loving it. Even still though, they were awesome!

I thought they were great....reminded me a little of Coldplay

I thought the bass player could have been a little more active in his playing though....that was kind of driving me nuts

The bass player had a huge cowboy hat on in Cleveland, seemed almost too big.

My wife really liked them, want's me to pick up a cd or two by them, I thought they were great as well, better than Robert Pollard and Sleater-Kinney thats for sure.

Seeing them in Hartford tomorrow night! I've been a fan of theirs for about 3 years and finally get to see them live. They played two nights at the Paradise in Boston last year and they sold out instantly. Glad to hear you dig them now Hoff!
