How is the poster deal going so far??

are they giving out bracelets again? Are the posters selling out?

    No bracelets, Some have sold out from what we've heard. The merch tables have poster tubes for $2

    yeah mate get there early if you want a poster bring a tube or pay a few bucks a n get one suxs 20,000 plus go to show but only like 1000 poster are sold if that just get the early like pre set early to get one for sure

    seriously, i tend to agree with you and yet, MSG still scares me. after the nightmare of 2008, i am NOT looking forward to the experience again, at all. i also far rather pre-party later and then hit the show, but no dice there; got to get there early, hope to score a poster and then hang around the arena. c'est la vie...

    Posters will be available to purchase after the tour like they were for the 09 tour also. So don't get scammed in buying one on ebay if they sell out at your show.

    There were merch tables away from the main entrances in the halls of the arena that had smaller lines in Cleveland, that's probably your best bet, the merch tables at the main entrances were pretty backed up and sold out of posters pretty quickly...They are selling the poster tubes for $2 so that's a plus, at least that's what I've heard for most of the shows.

    thats bullshit they did the same stunt in la last year, lucky i got a pre order one, and the other night didnt sell out on me, probably cauase it was a small venue maybe like 5000 people, if they print 1000 posters usualy is nothing for 20k seat venues, but it ok for la. not cool for msg though, no poster sale this time online??

    I liked how they handled the posters back in '08 the most. One per person via one bracelet per person. You didn't have to worry about holding the poster @ the show & it was great. After the show we would line up outside by the merchandise table & picked up our posters. NYC 1 - Boston 2 '08, we there wasn't any poster tubes for sale @ the merchandise tables so it was old school rubber bands. I used a few friend's hair bands. Staying @ the Red Roof Inn in Mansfield was awesome. Few blocks away there was the USPS store & they had the tubes & gear I needed. :)

    I kind felt 2009 was pretty selfish for many. You could buy one from the presale, buy one @ the show & buy another one when they were available @ the 10club goods section. All 2009 poster's are still available in the goods section (I think just 2 from BK are sold out). But it makes you think how many were printed per show for 2009! :shock:

    if theyre not using the bracelet system,
    they should punch or mark your concert ticket
    so you can only get 1 per person.

    How do we find out how many were printed for each show ?
    Didn't they used to list this on Expresso beans ?

    Get to the show on time and walk up to the merch table and buy one. They've been sellin out, but there are still tons. Just don't wait to get it.

    I did mean that in a "thats a good idea way". Seems very workable. In Columbus saw a few hitting multiple tables. And for that poster!!!! oh god please help them!!

    People are referencing the poster problems at MSG for the '08 tour.

    I guess the fiasco of 2003 is long forgotten.

    Only 1 design for both dates doesnt help ,
    & many of the MSG concessionaires
    saw all the young Pearl Jams frothing at the mouth
    over a thin piece of cardboard
    ( yeah i may've been amongst them )
    depicting Dick Chaney in the chemical laboratory .

    Guess it depends what venue youre at , and a bunch of other intangibles.
