I think it was the KC show, but Eddie hinted pretty strongly that this mini-tour was it for the US this year.

There are no rumors of this. They are just fans' hopes you are hearing. They would take a break and start a new record before another tour.

Only known rumor i've heard is a Pearl Jam show @ the Bell Centre in Montreal September 15th. I won't be surprised if there will be a 20th live anni show somewhere's in NA. 10/22/10. Though it's sad that South America, Asia, Africa, Canada (other then Toronto, Vancouver, Calgary) & Southern USA states haven't seen the band for year's. I wonder how their Pearl Jam sales have been doing? Are they still buying Pearl Jam goodies? Is there a price quota they need to reach for this rock band to tour those countries & cities? Yes, free digital downloads is the norm today, but people still buy CD's, right?

    i never hear rumors.
seriously, whatever i read on this board...that's it. i often wonder where many hear these things. granted, i know no one in the industry, but still, i cannot believe how many people come out with rumors.

already planned time off for the 20th anniversary, so if it happens, we're there! and if it doesn't, well it doesn't. 3 live shows right at home next week, i am still a very happy dreamer. 8-)

funny too - was just listening to the 10.31.09 boot this morning on the train, and eddie going on about all the rumors and speculations surrounding that show, and where the fuck does it even start? pretty comical stuff....

Really? I'd bet that there's gonna be several more legs of touring before PJ hits the studio again. Maybe not this year or next, but before PJ plans on recording again.

If they started recording after a short break from this tour, it would be like 2 1/2 - 3 years between albums. There is no way they are going to do another tour. People think its like a 2 month process to make an album. Not to mention Stone has a young child as does Ed, so they will want to be home for a while after this.

They may play a show or 2(20th anniversary for example) but don't expect another tour for the West Coast/South.

I think so, but only because I read my tarot cards this morning to see if I was going to see another show this year, and it was incredibly positive. Oddness for sure.

Their last few albums have been spaced 3-4 years apart. If they don't tour til their next album we'll be sorely missing them.

You don't have to put out an album to tour. PJ is a great example of this. They've toured every year of their career.

I think it's pretty foolish to think that they won't tour before a new album, unless they already have one in the bag, which they don't.
  • not unless they get a new drummer. otherwise, i think they are done for the year, except maybe one or two shows.

well, keep in mind that Mike said they already have about 10 songs that they have laid down for another album and I am not talking about Backspacer B-Sides or an EP. If Ed went right in and wrote lyrics after the tour the time frame could be pretty quick. This could happen because he has also mentioned putting lyrics on some Vs. B-Sides so why not do it all at once. Although Mike has been the king of misinformation. Like releasing the original Fixer, the EP, etc.

"Now, we do 12 shows, take three weeks off, do another 12 shows, take three weeks off, go in the studio for 10 days and take a month off. It feels manageable.

I know I sure would like Montreal in Sept to happen.

lookin at ticket sales pj probably should of chosen albany or montreal markets instead of newark. would of sold out by now pretty sure, especialy montreal not had show in forever.

i doubt pj will go to montreal this year now, it makes no sense to go for 1 show there in september, will cost too much unless there another east coast tour and i doubt that

im praying for 20th anniversary show in vegas, the 10th anniversary show was there at mgm right, why not the 20th, and vegas really has no curfew they play in the casino they can play all night long if they want, not like these pussy other arenas that got 11pm curfew

pearl jam could pull a guns n roses, come on stage at 12:30 am and play until 3am :D only in vegas
