Sound Check Question

I have read and heard a lot about the sound checks. So far I have only gone to one PJ show but I am going to 2 next week. When do the sound checks happen? I know before the show but how much before.

    went to the cleveland show and went to pick up 10club tix and i could hear them doing wash and fatal....

    how long was that before the show? I doubt I am going to try to hear it at Newark, but for MSG 2 I got 10C tickets and want to get there early.

    Soundcheck is usually close to an hour or so.. Philly 4 i could clearly hear the songs from a certain spot at the spectrum.
