    There's no telling what a creature like that might further mutate into if you leave it alone for a week. I'm not sure I'd ever let it out of my sight.

    not as a kitten. As an adult I think you could if you have an automatic feeder and litter box. I still have someone come and check in on my babies daily though.

    A friend of mine has two of these furless cats (she has some allergies to cats but loves them - they are ideal!). They are LOVELY and good natured. As they grow, they get away from this 'wrinkle' stage and their skin smooths out. Her cats are smooth to stroke as they still have a bit of fuzz (though there are some COMPLETELY bald ones, but it's rare).

    They do require a bit more attention than their furry cat friends.

    We recently saw a special on cats on animal planet and they spoke of these cats. They need frequent baths unlike other cats, as mentioned some extra care involved, i believe weekly?? The ones they showed on the special were all grown up and yes, I agree a little scary looking although their temperaments were I think ok. I always say go for it! when it comes to a pet joining the family. More to love :)
