probaly 10/30 or one of hte last two LA shows. Philly night 4 was sloppy as hell but it was long and had rare songs so people keep mentioning it. Boston 3 '03'd (althought the acoustic set was perfection).

i cannot get my hands on any copies of Philly right now, but i did download Berlin, LA 3, and San Francisco (for no other reason than liking SF and the set list.)

Completely agree. I think the Toronto show was awesome..I did get the London O2 show, think its great. But the Toronto show trumps it. Ordered the Philly box set so we'll wait and see after I get a chance to listen to those ones.

Exactly. Philly 4 had bugs, sweet lew, whip it and i'm open - I will skip these every time.

Chicago night 1 was terrible, great songs were played, but in lousy order. I felt like PJ was on shuffle that night. One song would rock, then the air would get sucked out of the building by the next choice.....If I never hear Come Back at a show again it will be too soon.

You do know why some of those songs were played, right? There was a reason for that setlist, as up and down as it may have been.

I think Chicago I is a hidden gem. The band wore their emotions on their sleeves that night. Seeing Ed hug Jeff after Happy Birthday was about as much true, honest emotion as I've seen at any of the shows I've gone to.

I can't say if any of that stuff translates to the boot or not, but that show will always stick out in my mind as unique and special.

Also, I was at Halloween and, as epic a show as it was, night 3 is a die hard fan's wet dream. And that will always be the distinction between these two shows. do you want to listen to the epic event show or the one that makes everyone touch themselves at night? the choice is up to you.

I only went to two shows in 09. Out of the two, Berlin was best. Comes close for my favourite show ever.
