I know theres a thread somewhere on here about this, but don't have time to look for it.

I'm looking for a spare 10c ticket for Hyde Park, it isn't for me it's for another 10c member.

If anyone can help me out, it would be much appreciated.

Do the 10c tickets give you any advantage at Hyde Park? I thought I remembered reading there was no early entry for the Hard Rock Calling show...

So if this is true, you could easily get a hold of a normal ticket (i.e. from an official vendor)

    Well...

I've heard a few stories, someone told me you get early entry, others have told me theirs a sectioned off pit for 10c members. I don't really know to be honest.
Don't fancy standing in the same place for 12hrs, so early entry will be a waste of time in there!!

I think when we bought tickets it said early entry.

I don't think there will be a 10c section. I've been to HRC a couple of times and there has never been a front section.

As Hyde Park will be set up for the three days of HRC I think a front section is unlikely as it's not just set up for the PJ gig.

There have been gigs at Hyde Park with front sections but they then sell two types of tickets (at two price levels ;)).

Just checked ticketmaster website and it doesn't show a front section (although it says layout can change  )

So are we strangers now? Like rock and roll and the radio?

This should be something that 10C can clarify pretty easily.

I may end up after a 10C ticket or two myself. Still not sure though.

mmm, i've never heard of any band letting their fans(fan club) in early to a "festival" early entry is only beneficial if you make the barrier, if not it's a free for all once the show starts, as i've experienced a few times myself

Yeah I agree and even if you make the barrier you're pretty much stuck there all day. Not something I'm all too keen on to be honest.

There definitely wont be a "pit" area, that's for sure; there hasn't been for the past few years at least.

Gates open at like 2-3 on the Friday for Pearl Jam, so it would only be 6-7 hours you'd have to stand for

Unless you plan on queuing all day then there isn't any point.
  • From the initial confirmation:

"5) There will be an early entry for Ten Club ticket holders. Information about early entry location will be received in your final confirmation email sent approximately one week prior to the show.

    6) There will not be a special Ten Club reserved section within the venue floor for security reasons. "

From the Hyde Park Calling site:

    "Doors times:

Friday 25 June (Pearl Jam): 14:30
Saturday 26 June (Stevie Wonder): 12:45
Sunday 27 June (Paul McCartney): 12:45

Set times will not be available until the week of the event, though the headliner will always be last on stage with each day scheduled to finish at approximately 22:30. "

Seems to me that the 10c members with tickets will be let in around 2.00-2.15pm. I anticipate that the first act on the main stage will come on around 3.00pm.
