    C) are the prices getting as low as face value? Im kinda looking for face value but I guess I could pay more if they were decent seats...

    For MSG2 you would be super lucky to get two tickets for face - if it's even close, I'd go ahead and pull the trigger.

    And ebay is pretty safe as long as you use paypal, you should be fine. Just make sure that you check out their feedback. If they have a ton of positive feedback, then go for it!

    **Very important** When you pay with paypal, use your credit card thru paypal, not your bank account. Paypal's "security" measures are very poor, but your credit card's should protect you just fine.

    aaahhhhhhh.... i currently dont have a credit card... but im also only 20 so i dont have much of an identity/$ that someone would really even want to steal hahah.. but am i totally screwed??

    Hopefully someone who knows more than I do can chip in, but I thought that one could pay through a debit card on PayPal as well.. glad to know I won't be the only 20 year old bringin' down the house at MSG :D

    problem with paying with a debit card is that you aren't as protected if the other person doesn't deliver the tickets as you are when you pay with a credit card.

    i love when people see how young I am and ask "awww is this your first show?" and i say "no this is my 12th show actually (monday night in BLO)" and then they have that shocked look on their face :o hahaha :)

    I used my debt card through paypal one time when buying something on ebay - think it was an Xbox360 game or something. Anyway, I never receieved the game, the seller refused to even email me back, so paypal got my money back. It took about a month, but I did get my money back.

    Yep, I'm well acquainted with that conversation - I'm a few behind you though - MSG will be 9 and 10! Also, did you check to see how many transactions the dude has done? 100% positive feedback with 100 sales is quite a bit different than 100% positive feedback with just one sale.

    It's not for your identity.

    I've had to complain to paypal when I was screwed when buying something. Paypal agreed with my side, but since the seller closed his paypal account, they didn't have a bank account to get the money back from him. The seller did this to multiple people. ...luckily when Paypal decided not to give me back the money, I called my CC company whom I had used and they credited me the money immediately while they researched - and if it's a scam, they don't charge you.

    Using your bank account is very risky, even if thru paypal.

    If you have a debit card with a Visa logo, call the number on the card up, and ask HOW you can use it in a way that it acts like a credit card, AND if that will protect you in case of fraud.

    (I've also been screwed by people with 100% positive feedback on ebay for tickets, when they played Borgata)

    Does it have a Visa logo on it?

    I believe a bank card is simply a way to withdraw from your bank account. If it has a Visa logo, that means it will also work as a credit card (as far as the seller is concerned) and that may offer you the same protection.

    If you see a Visa logo on it, call the number on the card, and tell them you are about to make a transaction with it, and want to know if they will protect the purchase. ...a bank card only does not.

    just called customer service and she said that id just have to file a complaint or somethin and id get my money back.. so that sounds good to me

    Does it have a Visa logo on it?

    I believe a bank card is simply a way to withdraw from your bank account. If it has a Visa logo, that means it will also work as a credit card (as far as the seller is concerned) and that may offer you the same protection.

    If you see a Visa logo on it, call the number on the card, and tell them you are about to make a transaction with it, and want to know if they will protect the purchase. ...a bank card only does not.

    A debit card with a Visa logo isn't the same as a credit card. I found that out the hard way when I had a paypal dispute.

    I don't know if this would work, but..
    What if you looked for two 10C sellers, make sure they don't really care who they sit with, and tell them that if their pair is worse than another pair you will be getting, they can take your seat there. Essentially, see if you can get the two 10C members sitting in whichever seats are superior, and then you and whoever you're going with take the worse pair. One of the 10C sellers will get an upgrade, the other will stay put. Is that too complicated? :?

    Likely my fault, not yours!

    What I'm suggesting is that you find two single 10C tickets. One pair will be better than the other, so have the two 10C ticket sellers sit together in whichever seats are better, and then you and your friend sit in the worse seats, which should still be good, because they'll be 10C!
