Vinyl Record Collectors - PLEASE HELP!

I have come across a record that is potentialy worth $1000-$3000 if it is an original but I cannot find a concrete answer to find out if it is an original or a repro.
I have heard yes it is - no it's not - I just don't know!
If there is anyone out there who might be able to help - please drop me a line ASAP!
