Is there a cure for Pearl Jamitis ?

seriously, i have been listening to this band for near 10 years straight without any break. it's a sickness. It's addictive. It gives me a great buzz. I get massive withdrawal symptoms when i go a day without.

my best 2 memories had to be when i first heard 'ten' when it was out, wasn't a big fan back then, but it hit me in the gut and i didn't get to taste them again til a good few years later. and also when i first got 'rearviewmirror', i had just come back from Ibiza and brought a bottle of absinthe back and i can remember having the 'down' side on constant repeat while taking small shots, and it just all got embedded in my brain, all the songs made sense. such a good feeling :)

i wouldn't have it any other way,

(i have yet to see them live though, might, 'might' get to see them in Dublin next month if i get a ticket through a mate).

keep on rockin' in the free and capitalist worlds :P

Some suggest I should go to rehab, but I'm not ready.

Although judging from your signature, you must have a rather deep brokus walletus.

I think going to four consecutive concerts has made mine much worse......I thought it was bad before the concerts....now it is just like a junkie trying to get their next high. Nothing seems to work right now.

You've got it all wrong - Pearl Jam IS the cure!

  • I'm not sure I would want one. I've been listening to them for ten years non-stop too. They are seriously intertwined with special memories in my life (i.e. first kiss, lol). My husband is a good sport b/c it's all PJ all the time. Occasionally I will sometimes break for some Alice in Chains and lately Kings of Leon, but it always comes back to my love, PJ.

I've already checked into Pearl Jam b+p'ing, trading, torrenting & freebing ReHab a dozen times.
I'll never get cured. It's cause I have blood type PJ.

Very true. PJ shows lift me up when nothing else can even when I don't think it is possible.
