OK, i'm an avid fan of No Way and believe it should be played more (ie. because I want to see it :p). Dave disagrees and says that it isn't played live for a reason.

Is there anyone who could help me, who owns the boots from the Star Lake (25/08/98), Lakewood (01/09/98) or Virginia Beach (07/09/98) amphitheatres and can tell me if the song was any good live or not?

I'm not into this whole downloading thing but would love to hear one, if not all three versions.

Thanks :)
Been to this many PJ shows: Reading 2006 London 2007 Manchester & London 2009 Dublin, Belfast, London, Nijmegen & Berlin 2010 Manchester 1 & Manchester 2 2012...

... and I still think Drive-By Truckers are better.

can't you just go to pearljamlive.com, select these shows and listen to all three without downloading them?
Don't come closer or I'll have to go
  • Well, you can see the Lakewood version here:

really, I thought all the shows were on there, well, with the exception of 2008.

hmm, just thought they were, sorry I mis-directed you

Good luck in your quest, then.

    What's the reason?

He's not overly keen on the song and says it wouldn't sound good live.

I just watched Atlanta 98 on youtube (Thanks ejny :))... Dave is very wrong :p
