West Coast Tour for late August 2010?

This question is directed at my loyal USA PJ brothers and sisters, from a loyal Aussie fan desperate to see them play whilst I'm on my honeymoon on the West Coast in Mid to late August 2010. Do any of you guys think that there is a small ray of hope that PJ may do a short West Coast tour during this period, or am I merely dreaming???? I don't think I can wait another 4-5 years to see them :cry:

    At the end of the San Diego show in October, Eddie said they would not be back for a "while"...I don't think any of us felt that a "while" meant less than a year...so, with that said, I would be absolutely shocked if they played on the west coast, or anywhere for that matter, in late August. Playing into July in Europe, I just do not see them coming back for another tour that soon. I hope I'm wrong though!

    Thanks for the reply bosdiego! I hope you're wrong too. I see that you travelled to NZ to see the boys play....excellent dedication!

    No clue -- but August 14/15 is the Outside Lands Festival in Golden Gate Park in SF. Very cool music festival, but exceedingly huge, 4-5 stages, lots of acts, wine-tasting, food-tasting, amazing exhibits and booths and a really fun event.

    Pearl Jam headlined one night last year, doubtful they'd repeat, but it's a good event.

    David Grey/Ray LaMontagne are in LA and SF early Sept.

    Thanks for that mate. I will definately keep it in mind and hopefully it will fit in with the schedule (including the missus!) Any further concert details that come to hand around that time would be much appreciated. Cheers

    I think Bridge School would be the best chance of seeing them on the west coast this year. Maybe a weekend at the Gorge, but with Matt doing double duty this year I don't see them touring after Europe.

    Oh yeah I forgot about Soundgarden. Can't win em all I guess! Will just have to hang out for summer 2013/14.
