as for pre-game spot, aside from the fundraiser, theres some bars on edison place.
the arena is on the corner of mulberry and edison...theres a huge parking lot across the street from it on mulberry. if you walk down edison, there are some places on r tight side of the road, directly across the arena. met a friend there once for drinks and it was pretty good. thats where i'm heading.

You are in the middle of nowhere in Newark. You only have the parking lots unless you want to drive a half an hour.
It's a new arena so I'm sure they have bars inside also.
