I was thinking about driving up from Philly but don't have money for a ticket, wouldn't it be nice if they just gave tickets away at this point, maybe to people named marcos or something like that?

Upper level only left but still can't believe they are left. If anyone familiar with area, should I rent a car from the airport and just drive to hotel and arena?? What would be my best and most economic options.

    Thanks in advance!!!

public transportation is pretty good, but it may be easier to get a rental. your preference.

Not necessary to rent a car. Take the T (subway) anywhere in the city. The hotel prices, especially this late notice, might be a bit steep, but it's a Monday night so you never know. Look around online. The Garden is right off the green line T at North Station.

Wow, so can take the T to the arena from airport? does it run in the vicinity of the hotels? I shouldn't be on this damn board. I'm gonna talk myself into this. lol

the bus lines run from the airport to the T stops wherever your hotel may be. then you can just hop back on to go to the show, pretty easy. here is the site- http://mbta.com/

Yes, the T goes from the Garden to the Airport and vice versa. Logan Airport is located on the Blue Line of the T, and you'd want to take it from there to Government Center, where a 5 minute walk leads you to the Garden. You could switch to the Orange or Green lines to to get directly to North Station (where the Garden is located), but Government Center is a really short walk if it's a nice day out. Not sure where you're hotel is, but the T runs pretty much everywhere in the city of Boston and to most suburbs in the direct vicinity of the city, like Quincy, Malden, Medford, Revere, East Boston, Somerville, Cambridge, Braintree. If your hotel is in Boston itself, you'll have no problem getting there on the T. Go to mbta.com to see the map and all that stuff, and ask away.

Seriously though, Boston is very accessible without a car. Hope you can make it. It's gonna be the best show of the tour.

the beauty of boston is everything is a T ride away, or less than a 20 dollar cab ride. my advice to you is to leave the driving to us locals or you will get lost, and gps will not help you....trust me the driving is nightmarish at best and parking is no picnic either....take the T, it will be the best 2 bucks you ever spent....

Do it! I made a last minute decision like this and went to the shows in Seattle last August. It was one the most amazing weekends of my life...the spontaneity makes the show that much more enjoyable when you realize what you'd be doing otherwise. You won't regret it :D
