Up from NYC- Any Buffalo Afterparties/ bar bands?

Hi, in from NYC for our 7th wedding anniversary- Looking for an after show good band/party- Anything happening? we see there are bars all over the place here- Any good suggestions? Thanks Josh and Amy

    What hotel are you staying at? Pearl St. Bar after the show should be good....You could always go to chipewa st. where most of the bars downtown are (Soho) l. If you want to take a 8 dollar taxi ride there are some great bars in allen town (more relaxed) Hardware, Brick Bar. Elmwood is also about a 10 dollar taxi ride from the arena wo traffic....Recommend Toro, Coles, Fairities

    comfort suites- we are specifically looking for live music...are there any websites that showcase what bands are playing? or any recommendations with myspace band links? thanks!!!

    Eh...not too sure on a Monday. You might want to try Neitcheze's on Allen, they have an open mic night every Monday. But whos know's there might be some live music at other places bc of the concert. Try Buffalobarfly.com or give a call to pearl st. brewery

    looks like there might be some band called the Pretty Ugly Show playing at Staples on Allen...? cant get a straight answer from guy at bar right now- hahaha. i love how a bar doesnt even know whats going on later...anyone know of this band or if this is in fact happening?

    Huge PJ pre party. I doubt any bands play this early in the day in buffalo.
