Rather the Yankees take Machado over Harper. But Harper is more the Yankee type. Hits homers, strikes out a lot, and walks a lot.I miss igotid880

https://www.thescore.com/mlb/news/1640002Report: Yankees 'lukewarm' on signing Machado8h agoHarry How / Getty Images Sport / Getty Manny Machado is expected to be one of the most sought-after players in free agency when the market opens later this week, but it appears the New York Yankees are only moderately interested in his services. The Yankees' baseball operations and scouting departments spent most of last week plotting an offseason strategy, and now the team is "lukewarm" on pursuing the four-time All-Star, according to major-league sources who spoke to SNY's Andy Martino. New York apparently wasn't impressed with Machado's antics during the postseason, which included questionable slides, sign stealing, a run-in with Jesus Aguilar of the Milwaukee Brewers, and what looked like a crotch shake. Machado also admitted in an interview that hustling isn't his "cup of tea." The Yankees need a shortstop because Didi Gregorius is expected to miss the first half of next season after undergoing Tommy John surgery on his throwing arm in October. However, signing Machado will likely be costly. The 26-year-old starred for the Baltimore Orioles and Los Angeles Dodgers in 2018, finishing the season with 37 home runs and 107 RBIs while posting a .905 OPS. 0

I think Machado and Harper will be poor signings for whoever breaks the bank.0

So does DeGrom get Cy Young?
 I think he does.0

deGrom or Max, strong case can be made for either and I think both are deserving. At this point if I'm voting I'll flip a coin best of 7 to see who gets #1. I don't know that anyone else is even close to those two.

I saw a stat on DeGrom that was just sick.cutz said:

 I think he does.
If the Mets scored 5 runs every game he would have been 32-0.
If the Mets scored 4 runs he would be 31-1
If the Mets score 3 runs he would be 26-6
 Those are some stupid statistics...
 DeGrom all day.0
