50/50 is killer.  The Marlins though are not...  They used a position player to pitch in one of those HR's. Yeesh.
Kudos to Marlins manager Schumaker for actually pitching to him.
More Kudos to the fan whom left w that 50th HR ball and didn't give it back to Ohtani.  Good on you.  I understand they wouldn't authenticate the ball for them since they wouldn't trade it w Ohtani.  They now have a life changing ball that should fetch 2million is my prediction.

I can't wait for more on that story to come out!

There is a certain main character syndrome with Giants/Bonds fans. Can't leave him out of the conversation!

And this is coming from someone who believes Bonds is the greatest hitter of all time. But at this point Ohtani is the greatest baseball player any of us will ever see.

blake snell is going to get seriously paid. I hate that my giants had to give him an opt out in order to sign him. you’d think two years at $31M per would be enough, but no.

snell only made 6 starts through the end of june, due to not being ready, a stint or two on the IL and paternity leave. he didn’t win a game until august, but since july (his last 14 starts) he’s been the best pitcher in baseball.
