Interesting.  I hate the cutouts but that is two people who prefer them right off the bat.
It’s weird. I don’t know if it’s just something with my eyes, but I felt like it helped me frame the pitches more. Can’t really explain it
That's the new TV ya got.

    ESPN, fuck that goddamn "noise"
Doyers?  Stuff the fake people in the stands - it looks so lame.
the cutouts were terrible. Fox’s CGI people may be OK.

I know only like 3 of us (dave?) care about the Giants but WTF is up with 7 games at LA and only 3 against them in SF? I know there’s no fans but it’s still a definite advantage to sleep in your own bed, get the last ABs, etc. How hard would 5 home, 5 away have been?I can’t believe the Giants signed off on this.

as I said, few care but you can bet cliffy would care if the yankees got 3 at home and 7 at BOS; the philly guys wouldn’t like 7 at ATL; the cubs guys wouldn’t like 7 at STL, etc.

are all the schedules this fucked up?

    and......fuck the d**gers.

Playing 5 Home & 5 Away makes too much sense for the MLB.

You'd think MLB would want LESS travel?

I think they are all mostly fucked up.

Yankees/Sox have 7 in NY and only 3 in Boston. Not sure about others, but guessing they are all out of whack.
Probably so. Checked the Braves' schedule Braves/Philly have 7 in Philly and 3 in Atl. Braves/Marlins have 7 in Atl and 3 in Miami.

I think a 6-4 split would have been fine with me. One team takes 2 3-game trips and then hosts a 4 game series.

Can't believe the Mets have a cutout of Chipper Jones in their stands (along with one of his son, Shea).

Yeah, I wouldn't think they'd want the Met Killer, in any form, in their stadium.

since my boys have no chance, I’m officially calling the 2020 champs a giant asterisk.

    unless it’s f’me’s reds....in that case, they’re legit.

Ya know, watching the Cardinals yesterday, I only really missed the crowd during the pregame festivities. Interested to see how high leverage situations play out in that regard.

Dig how teams have handled the anthem. Cards/Pirates stood. I know some everyone took a knee and a lot of teams had both. I like the kneeling before and then standing for the anthem, personally.

I think standing during the anthem misses the purpose, because nobody will care.

No pleasing everybody.  I just don’t have a problem with players and organizations attempting to avoid offending anyone and paying respect how they see fit.  I’m also totally fine with teams offending assholes.

Those are the most obvious racists.

Damn, Reds dude tested positive for Covid.  Gotta wonder how many guys now test positive/pass it around.
