Nobody seems to give a shit that Pujols used this bat.  Oh well.
Because he didn't break any rule?

I can see people say that it is an uneven playing field being grandfathered in like that.

MLB said it was a safety issue with the bat not a competitive advantage issue.

Ahhh, this is the splinter bat.  I didn't see one damn article that said that.  TY.  Shitty reporting as usual.  I had to sift through a bunch of articles to finally explain this.

    Thanks.

I remember when the bats were shattering and MLB changed that.  This is also why they preferred ash bats but that damn beetle ate all the ash trees.

Hard to imagine a more successful uniform redesign than the White Sox moving to silver & black in the 90s. We were in Chicago in 2010 and they still had a giant "2005 World Champions" banner on their stadium to troll the Cubs fans.
Trust me, we are never actually trolled by White Sox fans. They may think that, we certainly don't.

Not a jealous kinda guy, but of course I'd love to see the Yankees doing this.  Enjoying it though.

And the comment was for the numbskulls who say home runs don't work in the playoffs

  • McCullers was tipping his pitches.  That was evident.  Good for Philly.

I did not see Houston's bats falling asleep like this. Philly is an absolute beast.

They couldn't even score on the minor league pitchers at the end. I mean, you at least want to get the other team to use up some of their top arms.

ah ok, yea never understood that notion.  i think home runs are huge to winning in the playoffs. against these pitchers how many big hit rallies you gonna have?

They just gotta get hits - I don't care if it's off the starter or the damn bat boy.

  • I love that the "cheater" chants were so loud at Bregman that the Joe Davis and Smoltz had to acknowledge it. Smoltz was like "Well I don't think they're calling for the heater."

I definitely appreciated that it was directed at the right three guys. And McCullers, another 2017 holdover, had the worst night of them all

Yes, at least direct it at the right players. I saw them play in KC earlier and the fans behind us were calling Pena a cheater. I turned around and asked them if they realized that he was in high school in 2017. LOL
