How does Kershaw feel about being taken out of the game?

He might have to pitch again in game 4. And he was at 113 pitches.
    That's not what i asked>LOL>But, there might not be a game 4>LOL

I know. But I'm sure he knows the situation. Whether he was left in the game or taken out. People will say it was the wrong move.

It's funny how people on twitter are now mad at Mattingly for taking Kershaw out. Were the same people were mad at him last year for leaving him in. It's not like he has Mariano Rivera in the pen.

See why Mattingly kept Kershaw in longer in the past? Dodgers don't have a good bullpen.

and, hey yankees fans? mattingly sucks as a manager

3 years of first place finishes is not bad. Not much you can do when your team doesn't perform in the playoffs. He could have won as our team's manager in 2009.

dude, he's not a good manager....he doesn't like half his players and half his players don't like him.

How is he not a good manager? I get you're a Giants fan and have to not like him. But it's not like he made them miss the playoffs. He's gotten them more wins that they were expected. If you want to go by that pythagorean thing. A different manager wasn't going to make Kershaw get through the 7th without giving up a run. A different manager wasn't going to make Gonzalez's ball stay fair to tie the game at 1.

I don't watch nearly enough dodgers games to know whether he Is a good or bad manager. I do know it took him a while and he wasn't very good in his first couple years. I didn't see anything wrong with taking kershaw out there. I don't think it would have been a wrong move either way. It just didn't work out. I do know dude hasn't sniffed a world series with a team that is an annual favorite though

boy did Chase fuck that dude up last night. regular season that is probably a dirty play but playoffs all is fair. was a big spot in the game. no problem with chase drilling Tejada there.

i hate these 4 (or 3) singular games in a day. why the hell are they playing in 12:30 on a monday afternoon? just stupid. run the games simultaneously.

Regular season or playoffs, that was a dirty play last night. Hopefully his ass gets suspended but it probably won't happen.

I don't see anything wrong with it. Sure it was a little late but he was close enough to the bag. That play happens every single day. It was bad luck that he broke his leg

when your knee is above the bag that much while sliding, I think it's intentional. plus, it's not like Utley doesn't have a history of these types of plays.

Of course it was intentional. He didn't mean to hurt him but he meant to slide late and break up the play

It was more that a little late, and he was way off from the bag. Hopefully MLB makes a rule change in the off season.

to each, their own. In my opinion, it was dirty.

Nice to see Utley get suspended. Im fine with hard slides when you at least make an attempt to get to the bag. Its another when you are 3+' left or right of the bag.

easy to suspend a guy who is not a starter. if this was 2009 and Utley is hitting 3rd in the Phils lineup no way he suspends him.

what's next suspending Arrieta for throwing at the guy the other night?

    Agree.

If Tejada doesn't get hurt this is probably a non-story. MLB Network just showed some slides similar to Utley's(but no player got hurt) and there was no suspension.

thought this was pretty cool on local news site. #1 song on radio when each of the teams in the playoffs last won the World Series.

I don't know why they made the Dodgers the favorites in this series? They only have 2 maybe 3 players to be scared of and 2 are pitchers. But the Mets have the pitchers to match. And a better offense. Hopefully Kershaw can pitch a complete game shutout. Because that's what it's going to take to get to game 5.
