I believe they're both right. Dykstra was pissed about not getting the world series mvp and Williams would get pissed when he missed a save chance when Philly would get an insurance run in the 9th.

Side note: I can remember wild thing when he was a cub before he went to philly. Thinking that I have no why that guy almost falls down every time he pitched. It was the oddest thing I'd ever seen to that point in baseball.

Sick of seeing Ianetta sabotage this team. Give Perez more playing time. It worked for Napoli when Mathis started out as awful.

Good for Arod. Keep quiet and hit. As long as you do that, you'll be forgiven by the Yankee fans.

I finally personally get why non Giants fans were pissed when Bonds was moving up the homer chart. I had that god no moment when I saw he over took Mays.

I've never heard of a guy having to take a whole weekend off for fatigue. There has to be something else going on with Matt carpenter. He's hitting way to good to be out. But as a cub fan, he can stay out for as long as he wants!

Definitely worried about that guy. They say he's a workaholic so maybe he just went way over the edge with it and they are giving him a break while they can afford it. The leaps he's made over the last 3 seasons has been so impressive. Just keeps getting better. He's a really fun hitter to watch and has been the MVP of the league so far this year. When he gets on a hot streak, it feels like a sure double every time.

Hopefully there's nothing more to it, but only playing in 3 out of 7 games against division rivals makes it seem like there may be more to the story.

The Pirates nailed the first ever 4-5-4 triple play in MLB history against the Cards yesterday.

It's very rare for a "first ever" moment these days considering roughly three billion games have been played throughout history.

I wouldn't give him the mvp but he'd definitely deserve votes.

They have it so rough now that Amphetamines are banned. I know that for me, personally, a day without greenies is like night.

What the hell is taking Matt Weiters so long to recover from TJ surgery? Pitchers take less time to come back. I'm sick of seeing him on the DL on 2 of my fantasy teams.

He shouldn't even start when he comes back. In a contract year and the kid they are playing is putting up great stats.

You're correct. Caleb is playing well. But it's hard to ignore how well Weiters was hitting when he got hurt.

I was at an A's game in the 80's where a perfect game was broken with 2 outs in the 9th. It was the Mariners pitcher who was doing it and gave up a tater to lose the perfect game, the no no and the shut out. The A's fans boo'd the A's player that did it. I can't remember who was pitching.
