i think they are interesting. and, as a fan of the game, i'd generally like to see them be decent.

As a Cubs fan never thought the day would come, but I actually told a Cardinals fan at the grocery store good luck today and that I hope they win the series. If I lived anywhere else in the country I'd be pulling for MIL, but being a Cubs fan in MIL there is no way I can root for MIL. I really miss the mid 2000's when you'd walk around MIL and no one anywhere would be wearing Brewers gear.

That Sparky patch still gets me. If nothing else it'd be great to win out, as one last homage to our longtime Skipper. Either way they've done him proud this season!

I'm watching even though I picked the Rays to win it all I'm rooting for the brew crew. They may never get another shot at the title.

That is the problem with most baseball fans. I always watch the playoffs no matter who is in. Most people watch the NFL playoffs no matter who is in. Baseball has long needed to fix that problem and not rely on NY or Boston or whoever being involved.

I agree. I was riveted to the two NL game fives on Friday night as much as I was to the Yankee playoff games. I'm probably in the minority, especially in the New York area, but I paid more attention on radio and TV to the Cardinals-Brewers game than the Jets-Patriots game and I definitely would have been watching Game Two of the ALCS if not for the rain in Texas.
