Was just checking out my preseaon predictions. not doing so well

    Philly
    STL
    COL
    ATL - WC

    NYY
    DET
    TEX
    BOS - WC

So I'm on pace for 4 of 8 (assuming the cards make it out of their shithole joke of a division)

Not terrible. I thought the Rockies would be better than they are too. 4 outof 8 is not that bad.

Nah, great defender, longevity, so-so bat. His comparables on baseball reference are in for the most part so what do I know but I dont think so.

How about Mike Scoscia bumping Torii Hunter out of CF for the kid who is supposed to be great. That takes balls.

I agree. vizquel is the definition of a compiler. my buddy keeps saying he's a better player than ozzie smith. I keep telling him you have to compare him to his peers...tough to compare guys that played in different eras

wow. good for sciocia. most managers coddle these guys. nice to see someone make a decision based on talent, not reputation. guess he has nothing to lose since the angels are pretty much out of it

Last I looked 2 teams in that shithole of a division have a better record than Philadelphia.

come on bro. of course they do, they get to play the dogshit that is pitt, houston, chicago, and milwaukee in half of their games this year. they need to send one of those shit teams to the NL west. or just get rid of the central divisions in both leagues.

winning the NL central is the equivalent of winning the Sun Belt Conference

This weekend sucked. Need to make some hay against the Mariners. But the Rangers basically just need to play .500 ball the rest of the way.

Of course in the Devil's Oven (aka Dallas/Ft. Worth in August) that is tough.

Surprisingly though, the Rangers usually do better at home in August than on the road.

Eddie and Chelios look like they just smoked an L and are trying hard to keep it together, while Cusack did a little too much blow and his nose is on fire.

I would have loved to see Shelly Duncan pound on Lackey or Beckett last night (couldn't tell which one he was shoving when the benches cleared). That is one dude I wouldn't want to mess with

Yeah, man. Duncan would have beaten this shit out of Beckett and it would have been incredible. He is absolutely insane. Whenever he was on the Yanks, he was always in the middle of shit.

So it was Beckett...I think duncan could take both of them. He is a maniac. What other MLB players would do damage in a fight? I keep thinking johnny gomes, but he's just a cheap shot artist. Farnsworth would roid rage and probably do well in a fight. I think a middleweight that would kick ass is carl crawford.

    baseball fights are awesome

So 5 of the 6 divisions are still up in the air with less then 3 games seperating them.

    That is pretty awesome.
