was just reading an article in the Athletic about the current worst contracts in MLB. over the last 30 years, the ONLY one time MVP with a worse bWAR than kris bryant is…..ryan howard. so, no.

2002 was rough. It took me eight years to get over it (kind of).

Who the hell was juicing on the Halos? Erstad and Salmon?  Only Glaus was in the Mitchell report that I know of.

Seems like the Angels, as well as many other teams, are happy to be mediocre and lose money every year, as long as the value of their franchises keep growing.

Seems like the Angels, as well as many other teams, are happy to be mediocre and lose money every year, as long as the value of their franchises keep growing.

To be fair, they did make some what of an attempt the past 7 years. 
They got Rendon and he ended up being made of glass. 
They had Ohtani and lost ohtani...
They picked up some pitchers who had a shot at redemption.
They drafted pitchers in every round one year. All 20 rounds... Only 2 made it and are back in the minors...
They resigned Trout, even if he is a shell of himself.

Lotta bad luck and a lotta bad trades.

I don't even know how that "bWAR" works to even begin to understand it. No clue about WAR except I know the answer of "what is it good for? Absolutely nothing."=LOL
