Red Sox tie franchise season win total which they should easily break. That is saying something given they been around for 117 years. Now if they don't win the whole thing, it won't mean squat.

I would go with Acuna, but I fully acknowledge my Atl bias.

Their numbers are pretty similar though, so I could see either one getting it.

The pen has questions.  I also question their starters in a long series.  I feel like they have to outslug you when Sale isn't out there.

Jack Flaherty deserves some recognition, but a pitcher has to pitch at a Cy Young level to overcome an every day position player. Hell , Bader has gotten more attention locally and he’s been up and down offensively, though he’d be a lock for a Gold Glove if he played in more games.

Is DeGrom really a consideration?  I know he is like Carlton from back in the day but I don't know?!?

His numbers are awesome sans the win column.

I do remember reading about Koufax and his teams with minimal support too but he still won games.

Although anything can happen in the playoffs. If it wasn't for their record against the Marlins and Mets. The Braves are basically a .500 team. So I don't know how well they'll do

DeGrom is definitely a candidate. Dude can’t help it if his team can’t score 1 or 2 fucking runs. He’s done everything in his power to put the Mets in a position to win almost every time he takes the mound. And they just can’t back him up with any offense at all.

That said, if I had a vote, I’d have to go Scherzer and Snell. I don’t necessarily want to vote for Max but statistically he is the best all around pitcher in the NL.

deGrom has an almost 1 run better e.r.a. whip is .02 separation. deGrom has a better OPS against. Scherzer has more Ks and Wins.

Max also leads the NL in complete games, shutouts, innings, batters faced, hits per 9, k per 9, and k per walk.
