Ed not chatty...all in good mood. Stone's been rocking hard tonight. Ed said Happy Mother's Day before Army Reserve.Ed talked about first 2 Cleveland shows and some before Sleight of Hand about the meaning of the song...
Ed said he forgot to call his Mom today so had the crowd say "Happy Mother's Day Karen" and for Stone's Mom "Happy Mother's Day Carolyn"...they will give them a tape of it tomorrow
Ed said " Don't let that Jay-z guy steal your superstar (lebron james)"
black tag was..." I know, I know, I know I need you. I know, I know, I know I want you"
Fan with Smile sign invited to stage to be serenaded...was given a harmonica.

HAPPY MOTHER'S DAY EVERYONE!!!!

Welcome Everyone! Please leave your shoes by the door. Snacks are on the table, juice is in the refrigerator, hot water is on the stove for tea, coffee is on the counter. Adult beverages are at the bar. Please... if you spill it ...clean it. If you drop it...pick it up.

Have fun...sing loud...and please don't puke on my floor! :D

If the soundcheck info is any indication, this should be a great show!

Is this a joke?? I hope so...they already played Oceans, Undone is my other "white whale" and they better save it for VA or MSG!!

I am at home in balmy Houston, and not in Cleveland, for the record. So I cannot officially confirm the sound check. Just checking the posts and wishing I was there. I hope some of those songs pop up in Hartford and Boston.

    FWIW on the soundcheck...

I missed Wash, but Fatal was done once and I dont think hte played the VERY end of the song although it might have just been because it was hard to hear anything that was too quiet. Undone was played twice through and sounded good. No Way they kept working on the middle afterwards, Sleight of Hand was straight through and Speed of Sound I dont know if it got all the way to the end.

The long jam towards the end of the soundcheck sounded like something more than just a jam, but no one seemed to be able to place it so it probably was just a long jam/improv. Only a few vocals towards the end that we could hear.

And now back to work until the show starts for me... :)

Ah he fucks up the lyrics to Sleight of Hand every time and Mike freestyles the shit out of that song so they might as well not even sound check that baby- still in my top 10 though!

Wash is a good, dramatic opener I think, wouldnt want it every night though.

    What a soundcheck!

If I get even one of these in Buffalo tomorrow night, I'll be thrilled. Wash, Undone, Sleight of Hand, Fatal, No Way.

Wash used to be one of my favourite openers for a while but i've kinda gone off it. Maybe if i get to see it live it will bring it back for me.
