Gets the best rating in 2 years me thinks. They should have Conan on Weekend Update promoting the TBS show. That'd be fing funny.

    Jay-Z tore it up.

Bringing all the SNL alumni (women) back to honor Betty White was cool,

Molly Shannon, Ana Gasteyer , Maya Rudolph, Tina Fey , Amy Poeller & Rachel Dratch , all joining in on the various skits.

Resurrecting " The Delicious Dish " and all that talk of " muffins" was pretty good,
and showed 1 thing for sure,
Betty White, even at 88 , had a "darker" & "dirtier" side to her humour .

Also - it seemed like a 1 hour commercial for the new movie " MacGruber " starring Will Forte,
I didnt think that character / skit had enough substance to make a movie, but i guess I am wrong there.

Also worth mentioning is Fred Armisen , this guy is versatile and is always funny .
For the ones who had a notion, a notion deep inside
That it ain't no sin to be glad you're alive

    best episode in years.

i was really hoping for a debbie downer skit since rachel dratch was there. their csi sarasota skit was pretty funny towards the end.

then they resurrected the census taker skit from 10 years ago with christopher walken  betty white did it proud.

    i even liked jay z

alec baldwin and tom petty next week. you can't go wrong with them.

Betty White’s appearance on Saturday Night Live was truly golden: Last night’s edition posted its highest overnight ratings in 18 months. The telecast featuring White and musical guest Jay-Z averaged an 8.8 rating/21 share among 56 local markets tracked by Nielsen. That’s a high for the series since Nov. 1, 2008, when Ben Affleck hosted and Republican Presidential nominee John McCain appeared alongside Tina Fey as Gov. Sarah Palin.

turns out they did do a Debbie Downer sketch but likey ran out of time for the live broadcast:

There’s only so much time when you’re having fun, so this “Debbie Downer” sketch was cut from Saturday Night Live last night for time. Check it out:

Poor Rachel Dratch; she can’t catch a break, can she? What do you think of the sketch? I like Betty White’s late-in-the-proceedings appearance warning about gluten allergies…
