they have mixed it up so well that i think whichever set you think is best is going to come down to personal preferences on songs.

My fav was Columbus because Oceans FINALLY... and Alone was awesome too. But last night had a great mix of older songs that arent played as much like Last Exit/Rats/Whipping/In My Tree/Baba and Force of Nature, etc.

Best crowd was probably Indy... but being outdoors probably helps that too and it was packed which was great to see!

I have.... and we've had some strong shows through the Midwest- even 2009 in Chicago was great.

Hands down, however, Christchurch, NZ was the best I've seen.
I'm going to find you, and when I do, I don't plan on requesting a picture or an autograph. I'm just going redeem that drink you promised to buy all of "us f*#$ers" in New Zealand last year if we ever caught you out somewhere... and I'm going straight for the top-shelf, expensive bottle.

St. Louis by far. Sometimes leads to Animal and the place exploded. Pilate? All Night? Garden? Inside Job? Best set of the tour thus far.

I went to KC and ST. Louis and I thought KC was the better of the two. I'll be in Buff. on monday hope it's even better.

It sort of sux to compare shows, its like picking your favorite child

  • none of the shows has won "easily" or "by far" as some say. for instance, the genius who mentioned Pilate as a reason that St. Louis was "by far" the best - Pilate is one of the worst Pearl Jam songs ever written. it's almost unlistenable. Indy was damn good, but the set list in Columbus was slightly better IMO. probably the Indy crowd was the best just due to sheer size and the fact that it had that outdoor Friday night vibe going for it. but again, hearing Oceans in C-bus along with songs like Alone, Comeback, Faithfull, etc, i'd give the nod there as far as setlist.
  • I went to all shows, IMO:

Indy - Crowd was amazing, release opener, rats, the rain before the show, beautiful night outside.

    the rest.......I felt like
    STL,
    KC,
Columbus, in that order, but don't get me wrong Columbus was a kick ass show and Comeback was a sweet tribute. I just liked STL and KC a little better.

Am I the only one who thinks Columbus' setlist was nothing special? The song "Alone" shouldn't make it number one just because of it.

Indy had a nice setlist, not sure about The Fixer as a set closer though.

    Judging by setlists, I say:

    1. Indy
    2. St. Louis
    3. Columbus
    4. KC
    5. New Orleans
