2 questions (re: Mike & the disappearance of the batwings)
After witnessing one of the all-time greatest shows at Noblesville, IN last night, 2 questions have come to my mind...
1) Mike sings background a lot theses days...he never did before. He's not a bad singer. Why did he never do this before?
2) What ever happened to the gold bat wings that used to sit on the amp?

1. He has stated in many (recent) interviews that he wants to grow as an artist and singing lessons have helped him with that, as well as piano lessons. He eventually wants to do some more tv/movie scoring and the possibility of a solo album hasn't been ruled out, he just wants to make sure he is a good singer first. He started singing backups around 2007/2008, but i really all culminated with Last Soldier.
2. The bat wings have been "retired" from touring, but were a staple of Eddie's solo shows for his backdrop. Again - they were given to him from Dennis from The Frogs.
