Parking at the Prudential Center

Does anyone have any experience going to the Prudential Center? I have been told that it is difficult to get to and parking really sucks.

Is it worth it to pay the $25 for parking at the venue?

Do you really want to walk around downtown Newark?

Parking near the PruCenter is fine. Don't listen to people who say it isn't safe. There is tons of police presence around the venue for every event. There are plenty of lots, starting at $15 going up to $30 as you get closer. I recommend any of the lots on Mulberry.

parking is fine with many lots, probably would cost more taking the train with the recent hike in prices....i'm planning on driving in.

Thanks everyone....I'm not scared of downtown Newark, just don't want to be stressed about finding a parking spot since I know I am going to be running late because of work.
Am thinking I may just buy the parking pass off the Prudential Center website and make it as stress free as possible.
