    bullshit . the winner wasn't even there and ed shaved and everything. people who aren't there should be eliminated from nomination. well at least hairspray didn't win I don't know why but I don't want them to win . if they win best picture ed will be up there.

    I know nothing about Hollywood but a lot of artists aren't there because they support the writer's strike. I'm guessing that doesn't include the music industry. Lots of people don't make it to awards shows for numerous reasons; that shouldn't eliminate them from nomination.
