Ticketmaster ticket drops?

Anybody have any experience with buying tickets the day of the show? I'm trying to get some friends of mine some better seats for the show tonight and have been watching ticketmaster.com. Still just pulling lawn seats right now. I've been told by someone who works at Deer Creek that they usually release more the day of the show once they find out how many tickets the band wants, how big the stage is, etc.

Anybody have any experience on around what time the tickets would get released?

Thanks in advance.

Go to the Wishlist party. You may be able to organize a few trades. Find two people who have an extra ticket, the one guy sells you his two tickets, then buys the extra ticket from the other guy.

Unfortunately, you won't all be together, but oh well.. you'll have the good seats.

re-releases happen all the time. got some sick seats to a ton of sold out phish shows last summer. also got muse tickets this way in March. usually around noon is when it goes time but there's no set times.

Arenas release more tickets than amphitheaters and at more predictable times.

It's just a matter of when the band releases their holds for guests at amphitheaters, whereas at arenas there are other tickets that are added to that.
ADD 5,200 to the post count you see, thank you. :)
