If I was to buy a Muse CD (and I have only heard a few songs of theirs) which one should I buy?

    Hmmm....Absolution would be a good starting place I would think. Then Origin of Symmetry. After that, you'll want them all.

    Even though it's not studio, i absolutely recommend their live album. Amazing!

    use to be a big fan but soured on them the last few years.. possibly Absolution.That is their best album. I think they have gone downhill since than.

    HAARP, the live album is the best thing they have. Each of their studio albums are great, but sound pretty different to each other...anyway their songs sound much better live so go with that one.

    I agree, take the live one, HAARP. If it has to be studio, let me go against the stream and suggest the debut, Showbiz.

    Like many here, I'd recommend Absolution-- killer album!

    But really, if you like what you hear I can't stress enough: see them live!! They really are something else live!
