How is everyone getting to Newark?

That is the last detail I need to get squared away from my trip. I am going to Boston the night before and was wondering if it was worth just paying to park at Prudential Center, or going north to about Hackensack and taking a train in?
I want to try to make my way back toward Albany NY after the show and not have to stay at a hotel near Newark (I hear its not the greatest area and I am low on funds!)
Any help and general ideas about what others are doing would be awesome!!
