    Wow... so one announcement about lending in Europe caused that - crazy. I checked yahoo earlier (the DOW/SP/NAS are on the side) and I didnt even notice so it must have been more normal.

    so there is a crazy 30 day waiting period post employment termination of my old job to withdraw my 401k. i clicked the sell button last week and was told i needed another 14 days to sell. if it sells my stock at this down rate automatically because of this stupid 30 day waiting period taking such a loss i am going to sue somebody.

    unless you gave them a strike point at which to sell, it shouldn't sell automatically

    its supposed to sell my common stock same day and mutual funds next day. that was a week ago when i had 10% more in my account that it wouldnt let me....

    again i would call a live person and see whats up with this "waiting period" and wheter or not you have to put another sell order in

    Markets should have closed about where they did...
