Be still
Be still with me
taste the orange
this fruit
just be slow with me.
Taste how the grapes bring us wine
and moony-nights
Dreamy belongs to your eyes
as I am into.
On this night I have never tasted so much fruit or felt so many curving vines, roots or berries
It’s as if your wholeness grows me blooming and then I realize you are light
Somehow each feather from you
is for me
teaching me to fly apple treetops
and cherries
Every orchard,
a caterpillar to a butterfly
inches itself across your wicker basket.
Tonight I am dying
the leaf to the ground
as we watch falling down
laying over me
Be still with me
taste the orange
this fruit
just be slow with me.
