I remember a few years ago he came to the UK and tickets were priced about £80! Acts booked in arenas wil generally charge £45 so it was a massive difference.

Yes, some artists choose to sell tix at really high prices, I agree. I always say if people quit paying over 100 bucks a ticket, I would think they would go down in price. They would have too.

I agree with you for the most part. But charging $85, like Pearl Jam does, is a lot. Charging almost double that is absurd. I'm all about making money, but I'm more about showing loyalty to your fans by allowing as many of them as possible to attend your shows.
