I only get bootlegs for the shows I've been to. And a nice member of these boards also provided me with a free bootleg of the Merriweather Post Pavilion show from 1998, before the official ones started.
$400 isn't too bad, but i'll have to wait as I just spent $400 on a wax engraving of Jeff's left earlobe, 3 signed copies of the Matt Cameron jazz odyssey album and a pair of swimming trunks that have a trunk sewn on to the front to make it look like a giant willy.
next pay day though... unless of course I find other such awesomeness to waste my money on.
oh scary... 40000 morbidly obese christians wearing fanny packs invading europe is probably the least scariest thing since I watched an edited version of The Care Bears movie in an extremely brightly lit cinema.
I paid way more for them individually last year, so yeah, I certainly would. But then again I've bought every bootleg on CD that they have ever made available, so it's a given.
Now what they should do is give the Phiily box to everyone that ordered the whole set last year since in retrospect we got raped.

I ordered the Philly box set for $60. I already bought the 09 boots last year individually. I have boxes and boxes of bootlegs and to tell you the truth I hardly ever listen to them.
with that money I'll try to get Binaural, Riot Act and Avocado Sealed on vinyl...

I have a friend who purchased ALL of the 2000 bootlegs and ALL of the 2003 bootlegs (back when there was no all-inclusive money saving package). He wasn't thrilled with the download-only option of 2006 so think he just got some select shows from those... I think he did buy all of 2008 (wasn't it only 14 shows or something?), and he emailed me yesterday to say he bought the $395 box set. So there you have it.
If they were actual CDs and not just CD-Rs, it'd make it more worth it. I have plenty from 2000 and 2003 as well (not a complete set mind you), so exactly, how many Even Flows do you need to have? These days I buy or trade for just a few shows a tour, if there's something rare in them, or live songs I don't have yet, or of course if I was actually at the show, for sure.

I bought all the 08's and 09's when they came out and can't remember the last time I said, "Man I REALLY need to listen to that SLC boot from 09." I listened to them all once and now they sit on a shelf collecting dust. I did buy the Philly box set to complete the collection but decided after I bought all the 09 boots that I will only buy shows I go to from now on. I listen to the shows I was at a lot more than the others.

In 2000, completist that I am, I bought all 72 shows. Once I realized that they were going to release every show going forward, I realized that I would go bankrupt if I kept that up. Actually, more to the point, I realized that I barely have enough time to listen to the 2000 shows more than a few times each in the ten years since. So, since then, I buy the shows I attend, and the occasional wild-card with a stellar set.

i'm passing on philly too. i have way too many live shows on CD as it is. and honestly, i am going to reach for the '00s and '03s before the '09s.
