For anyone that is interested in meeting up before the Tigers Vs. Indians Game at 1:05 on Sunday before the concert we have a plan.

We will be meeting at Gateway Plaza. Its the area between the Q and Jacobs Field, with these 2 towers and grass. seen here:

Get there by Noon if possible and by 12:30 whoever has gathered will go over to the box office to buy tickets. Right now we are thinking Bleacher seats, which are $18 a ticket.

I will be wearing an obnoxiously bright yellow "PLAY ALPINE VALLEY" t-shirt which should be hard to miss. Please post if you would like to join us. I will update this list accordingly.

People attending so far are:

You already have me, but we'll be there. I'll be the one wearing a Pearl Jam t-shirt and looking hung over from the night before. My husband is the less hungover looking one wearing a Pearl Jam t-shirt.

My friends and I are hoping to get to the game.... having gone to a few Indians games over the last few years my suggestion is to forget the box office and buy tickets from scalpers.

HUGE savings that can then be spent on beer.

    Just a suggestion.

Not a bad idea. I guess it depends on how much of a group of tickets they would have together.

They usually buy their season tickets in "clumps" so they might not be in the same row, but in rows in front and back of one another... if that makes any sense.

Not much demand for the Indians so they are usually just happy to get rid of their inventory.

Last summer, paid $40 for 2 tickets with a face value of $74.... so I was very happy.

Look out for members of the band attending batting practice, pre-game warmups, or the game itself. In 2006, I went to see the Indians and Pirates batting practice before the show. Who should walk in from the outfield entrance, but Mike McCready. I caught him on the way out and he signed my ticket for the show. I was the only one who recognized him. Most people around me thought I was crazy and kept asking me who it was I was speaking with.
