I'm coming into Indy for the Deer Creek show from San Diego. I don't know the deal in the lot? Can you party/drink in the parking lot before the show? Do you need to go to a camp grounds lot or something? Anybody that knows about it would be good. Thanks for your help!

You can tailgate in the parking lot...not a problem.

You will spend quite a bit of time trying to get out of the lot after the show. Prepare for at least an hour if you aren't close to an exit.

Cool. Thanks! Any advantage of getting in and out of the VIP Lot?

Yeah, the VIP lot is a lot better for traffic...that is until you actually get OUT of the lot and on the streets. The venue is kind of located in a shitty place for traffic flow. They have improved it over the years, but it still gets massively crowded. This is why I just decide to chill at my car, blast some tunes and let everyone else sit in their car with the engine running. 1 hour will pass and there usually isn't a problem.
