i wore my "like pilate i have a dog" shirt in kc...BUT I GOT IT IN STL! hahahahahahahahahaa phenomenal.

    thanks :) (orange shirt, pigtails, not to mention i made it myself so i would be suprised if anyone else had it haha) i was really hoping for it, even though i know a lot of people hate that song. the line... "stunned by my own reflection, looking back...sees me too clearly, and i swore i'd never go there again..." is just fucking haunting to me and i swore to myself i would hear it live. it was cool because apparently the people in stl sitting behind me saw me in kc because when the song came on (when ed said they were gonna play a jeff song i just KNEW it...) all these people were patting my back and saying "YEAH!" and "YOU GOT IT!!!!" the fucking vibe and the feeling of community was overwhelming last night.

    i LITERALLY (not figuratively) have no voice. my mother called me and heard me trying with all my might to talk and said "oh yeah, you went to pearl jam last night. call me tomorrow. " hahahahaha

    i met so many fucking amazing people the last two days, i wish i could be in contact with them.

    the bulk of this fanbase is just beyond amazing.

    my boss, ( i am off mon-wed, so it was no skin off his nose) is an old skool punk guy. he is the guy who says "yeah i hated pearl jam in the 90s". do i care? no. does he? no. he gets the biggest fucking kick out of it...actually i think he is more annoyed that i am taking a weekend off to be a bridesmaid than that i am going to see pj.

    Pilate is the song I didn't know I wanted to hear. I love the song, but I didn't even dream they would play it. Singing that bridge with Ed and the crowd was one the highlights of the show for me.
