I took my 12 yr old son to his first PJ concert in Kansas. Picked him up from school and drove from St Louis expecting decent seats. When we picked up tickets we couldn't believe it...........Row 2 seats 13-14. My son, who knows a lot of their songs was pumped so he couldn't wait.
When PJ came on he looked like he was in awe for the first few songs. Many highlights for me, Of The Girl to me is their best opener ( saw in on the 2000 tour), Amongst The Waves, Black, Life Wasted, Off He Goes. At the end of Alive, Eddie was on our side, he looked and pointed at my son who kinda waved back at him, to which Eddie went and got a guitar pick (white EV one) and threw it my sons way. It landed in the front row but the people in front of us picked it up and gave it to my son. Awesome
St Louis night 2. Took my wife this time, i told her during the day i would be happy with anything under Row 25 after Kansas. Picked up tickets, Row 2 seats 13-14 again.....Holy shit. Amazing energy by the band all night, Pilate, RVM, All night, Severed Hand, Jeremy. 2 great shows on 2 consecutive nights, only got ticketmaster tics for INDY. I'm thinking i should have got 10club tics for the rest of the tour the way my luck is going!

    wow!!!!!!

    that is sooooo cool

i think my son would love that !!!!!!! he is 6 and has a short attention span
but if he was that close i think they could keep his attention for the whole show!!!!

Awesome! Congrats, sounds like it was a good couple of nights. Hoping I win a lottery one day - maybe Powerball?

    Nice!

I'd bet Ed told them to "make sure the guy with the kid gets the same tickets" to his staff. :)

    Congrats dude...

Especially since you had the little guy with you (although I guess 12 isn't really that little).

Throw some of that luck my way for Buffalo...or even just half the luck, I'll settle for rows 9 and 10 any day of the week!
