Problems with Pearl Jam iPhone App...

When I initially downloaded it, it worked like a charm. But now every time I try to run the app it brings up the loading screen and then crashes back to the main iPhone menu. I've tried deleting it and re-installing but I'm still getting the same problem. If it makes any difference, my phone is a 3GS.

Has anyone else had this problem? If so, what did you do to fix it?

At the end of the day it's only $1.99...but I'd still like to be able to use the app.

    I've had that issue from the very beginning. 10C told me various ways to fix it but nothing worked. I've had my iphone for 3 years...that's the only issue I can find.

    Other than that....happy to waste 2 bucks.

    mine was goofy at first but it seemed like it eventually started to work fine for no reason.

    I'm having the same problem. The loading screen appears but after about ten seconds or so it crashes back to my home screen. I've deleted and reinstalled and had no success. It just does not work. I'm using an iPod Touch and this is the first such problem I have encountered.

    I have a 3gs as well, and have not had any issues with that. Have you done a hard reset? Try holding down the home and on/off button until you see the apple logo reappear. I've had success doing this with other apps that mostly lock-up. Also, have you downloaded any apps recently when this problem happened? If so, delete the app and see if that solves it.

    Yes, delete that Creed app and that should resolve it! :lol:

    I have a 3gs and haven't had any issues with the app. Like SPJ, I recommend a restart as well.

    Someone had said Pearl Jam Radio worked on the iphone through the app. Anyone had any luck with it?

    Just click the link on the iPhone and it starts the stream in a quicktime window. No cover art, but it is free streaming PJ Radio

    Tried doing a master reset (holding the menu and power button), but that still didn't fix it. I have also tried deleting and then re-installing the app.

    At the very least I'm glad I'm not alone with this issue. Perhaps someone within the 10c would be able to chime in?

    I downloaded the app the day it came out and have had no trouble at all - I am in the UK - dont know if that should make a difference.

    They should add the 10c store at some point though!

    I've also re-synced my iPhone and that seemed to help some. but I've had the same problems that you mentioned.

    Just to update everyone, I've somewhat figured out the issue: It seems I may have too much pj on my iPhone!

    I just deleted all of my pearl jam music (well over 20GB) and the app now works perfectly. I think it may be something with the record player feature reading all of the music on my phone. I'm going to try adding all of my pj again through iTunes and hopefully the app will still work.

    I have done all of the above but mine has never worked. I have a 3 year old iphone...that's gotta be it!

    I'm hoping they add Pearl Jam radio to the app!!! I have been streaming it through Safari but it would be cool to actually be able to see what concert the song is from.

    the apps works great on my 3g. apps crashing are usually an iphone issue though (the 3.1.3 update has been very troublesome for lots of users). It really helps the device's performance to do a "restore as new" every few months or so.
