Singing just breathe at a funeral.

Unfortunately my cousin recently passed away after injuries sustained in a bicycle accident. She was 36 years old and married with a 6 year old daughter. Being so young, her social circle is massive. The visitation attendance was unbelievable. Tomorrow (or I guess today as its almost 2 am in burlington) I'll be playing and singing just breathe in front of upwards of 500 people. That exceeds my previous crowd max by about 400. Can't say I'm not nervous but its one of my favorite songs and I think it will serve as a great gift for my cousin and our family.

Wish me luck!

Sorry for your loss. It's lovely that you will sing at your cousin's funeral. When my daughter played the violin at my mother's (her grandmother's) funeral, she was shaking she was so nervous. In the end, the heart is there and her playing was beautiful and flawless. Just like when you will sing Just Breathe for your cousin.

Thank you so much for your sympathy. I prepared myself well and managed to keep it together, and as you predicted it was flawless. My cousin was a huge PJ fan and when backspacer came out just breathe became her instant favorite. My family and friends are requesting a CD by the end of the month so now I have some work to do. It was an honor to be able to give such a wonderful gift to my cousin and her husband. I also feel obligated to thank Eddie as the lyrics to that song are simply beautiful.
