I think I saw "The Rob" in Bristow on the floor before the opening act came out and the floor was pretty empty. He had a PJ sticker pass that said PJ Radio on it, so I'm assuming it was him. Kinda bothered me since he looked for where he was sitting, or a friend was sitting, at the end of the 5th row - he then pushed the chairs in front of him up 10 inches, and moved his few chairs back 10", so the people in front of him got less space and the people behind him got less space, just so he would have more. Kinda a skeevy thing to do.

If that was him, that was kind of a dick thing to do.

Took a break from this for a bit but I'm back listening. Awesome version of Tremor Christ 1/14/95 awesome soundboard boot too

    Back up and running.

Had a power outage here in Paso where we broadcast from. Battery backup did not perform as promised. Sorry for the temporary down time.

"Brother" from Chicago is on... only the second time ever played in the US and Ed fucks up the lyrics. That's unfortunate.

Down. Fall by the wayside... no getting out...
Down. Cry me a river... dried up and dammed.
The names can be changed... but the place is still the same.
I am loaded. Told that all's for naught. Holds me down.

Rise. Life is in motion. I'm stuck in line.
Oh rise. You can't be neutral on a moving train.
One day... the symptoms fade. Think I'll throw these pills away.
And if hope could grow from dirt like me. It can be done.

Won't let the light escape from me.
Won't let the darkness swallow me.

Yeah it was. Is this the final mix though? I'm not so sure.

edit: I think that was an audience boot.

I realize this is a radio and not a jukebox.. but why does it have to have The Rob speaking? No offense.. It's just that I enjoy hearing the songs, etc. and then - I hear someone saying "you are listening to PJ Radio".. I am aware of that already. It's not generating advertising revenue. And then hearing the fan reviews - kind of breaks up the joy of listening to the feed. Then again, this is why I never listen to the real radio. I listen to my iPod because I like hearing music. If there are interviews with the band, that would be cool to include on the feed.

I'm not trying to complain and I hope it doesn't come across that way. I'm stating my preference and opinion. I'm enjoying this radio at work, actually I'm enjoying it too much. I keep asking people to hang on a minute while I maximize the window to read what show the song is from that I'm listening to instead of whatever they are in my office trying to tell me. Hopefully I don't get laid off from my job because I'm busy with PJ music.

i agreee. the post show wrap ups are kind of annoying. the people they interview always sound like tools.

  • I've noticed PJ radio has a hard on for Atlanta 94 shows. I think I see tracks for them the most!

Not really a hard on for Atlanta '94, just that as we're just really getting started, the library is a little thin at the moment on the really early stuff. But please hang in there and give it some time to grow. Once I get off the tour I'll be working hard to beef up the early years with a lot more shows to choose from.

How does it work when the radio play audience bootlegs? Have they asked the recorder or is it pearl Jams right?

And, with Copenhagen 07 only being broadcasted from an audience source my guess it there will NEVER be a soundboard recorinding aired or sold to fans?
