with lips that almost can't move
and a tongue quite heavy
with-tin-man-immobile-rusted-mouth
shall I can try to squeak a bit?
I need to oil and stretch everything
bend and twist
open and close
wet, wiggle and bite the red edges
so out of practice, I yam

let the heat bubble up
spilling, sputtering, stuttering
and turn my face pink
