Read the owner's manual. If it says Regular Unleaded, then you really shouldn't waste the extra money by putting premium in. You won't see any advantages with using the more expenisve gas.
I've heard higher grade gasoline does nothing for newer cars.
Always do what the owners manual says.. Octane is actually making the gas resist burning(retarding timing) and if an engine and its computer are designed to run with more octane (usually sports cars/high horsepower) than that is what u need to use, regardless of model year, or a poor running/ "spark knock" condition will occur.. if your vehicle only requires 87 octane (regular) higher octanes will do nothing for you.. Have fun, drive safe, buckle up and enjoy the open road!!
None are more hopelessly enslaved than those who falsely believe that they are free.

I've heard this before, but I don't know the reasoning (why not Shell??). Isn't Sunoco American gas? Least I can do is buy American gas since I just bought a foreign car.
Just to get you started. Its amazing what happens in the world without us knowing.
interesting. I feel like an idiot since I am pretty much oblivious to this type of news.
What companies are the most responsible? I'd also prefer to buy from American companies, which probably makes me a hypocrite for buying a foreign car (SUV nonetheless).

and definatley NOT shell.
Unless you own a high performance sport or luxury car, you're not going to need premium gas.
