question about seeding torrents

If anybody has ever uploaded a torrent>500MB, roughly how long would it take for another seeder to open up running on 40kB/s. I currently have 30 peers on my utorrent client and have uploaded 488 of the 502MB however none of those peers have exceeded 100MB individually. Since i have to be the sole provider of this file before another seed opens up, how much longer to really get the ball rolling?

My bandwidth is to slow for me to be an uploader, but I would assume that waiting until you have a ratio of 3 - 5 would be enough. You don't have to wait until one person gets 100% of the file. If 2 people each get different halves of the file (50% each), they would collectively become a seeder.
In a nutshell, it is all about the ratio.
    Hope this helps
Still can't believe I met Mike Mccready at the Guggenheim and got a pic with him!!!!!

    2010: 9/7/10 - Bilbao
    2012: 26-27/6/12 - Amsterdam ~~ 29/6/12 - Werchter ~~ 4-5/7/12 - Berlin
    2014: 25/6/14 - Vienna ~~ 26/6/14 - Berlin

Thanks very much rafie. It's a relief to know that i don't have to wait for one person to download the whole file. I guess that's the beauty of bittorrent. The "Availability" is now at 1.998 so if i'm correct, i'm expecting that second seeder to open up when Avail hits 2. Thanks again for your help!
